The First few Characters that you will get to know are of Course the classic Lance Bean- The gun mode'ing adrenaline junkie, (who looks and acts like if you took Sylvester Stallone Hair and body and gave him Keanu Reeves face and voice) and of Course Bill Rizer, the explosives expert who just knows how to get the job done, (The relative love child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis if they both got married with a mini gun in their hands.)Īlong with the two classic characters you also see a number of extra characters jump into the frame, each of them with something more to add to the endless "bullet hell" that Contra returns becomes. As some characters are better at handling hordes of flying enemies, others have the ability to pierce through or slow down the hordes of Zombies and Aliens that you are going to have to fight through in both the games story and its specials modes.
Each character has their own set of abilities and special attacks that make them more well suited for dynamic situations. Like the old contra Games this game revolves around Contra.

If you are the type of person who loves super over the top machismo, many man things, things exploding and and a cast of dynamic and interesting characters, then "Contra Returns" is definitely the game that you want to throw those hard earned diamonds at. If you where one of the few people allowed to sign up for the Beta of this game for mobile, then you are all too familiar with the opening screeching 80's style guitar that is the Contra opening, an opening that says- "This is Contra you are playing- and nothing else." Contra is Back!!!! - And with a white hot fury that would leave some wondering what a contra even is or why its so awesome as the are defined by the sounds of explosions and laser noises.
